Mrs. Sharon A. Matthew- Edwards – Chairman Non- Executive Director (Antigua based)

Mrs. Matthew-Edwards was appointed to the Board on April 1, 2021. She is a Chartered Accountant, 1994, with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Council Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean, Antigua and Barbuda Branch (membership since 2002). Mrs. Matthew- Edwards obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree (cum laude), with a double major in Accounting and Finance (1992) before becoming qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Her professional experience includes her employment with PricewaterhouseCoopers (1992 to 2010). She later opened her own accounting firm, Concord Business Associates in 2010. She has been actively involved in the Antigua and Barbuda Girl Guides Association as a Leader (1992-2012), the Antigua and Barbuda Waste Recycling Corporation (Board Secretary, from 2004), and served as a Board Member and Treasurer of the New Winthorpes Wesleyan Holiness Church (from 2005 to 2015). She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) and having completed the Directors Education and Accreditation Programme (DEAP), she holds the designation Acc. Dir.

Mr. Dorsett Cromwell – Deputy Chairman Non- Executive Director (Grenada based)

Mr. Cromwell was appointed to the Board on December 7, 2020 and currently holds the position of Director, National Insurance Board, Grenada. He has over 18 years’ experience and has held several key management and strategic positions within the National Insurance Board, a public-sector organization. In his present role, he is responsible for the administration of the Fund and in particular for the strategic and corporate management of the institution. Mr. Cromwell holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honors) Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of the West Indies (Barbados), 1994. Bachelor of Actuarial Science and Masters of Actuarial Science from Georgia State University (USA) 1998. Executive Diploma in Social Security Management from University of the West Indies (Barbados) 2003. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) and having completed the Directors Education and Accreditation Programme (DEAP), he holds the designation Acc. Dir.

Mr. Ron Antoine Non – Executive Director (Grenada based)

Mr. Antoine was appointed to the Board on April 17, 2019 and currently holds the position of Managing Director/CEO of Grenada Breweries Ltd. in Grenada. Over his twenty-four year business career, he also garnered extensive experience in financial management, having held several senior positions in the area of finance and business management and in the area of engineering. Mr. Antoine holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Honors Degree (1996) from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and a Masters in Business Administration (2001) from the Johnson Graduate School of Management. He attained the designation of Fellow from the Organization of American States for Corporate Finance in 2001.

Dr. Lorraine Raeburn Non- Executive Director (Antigua based)

Dr. Raeburn was appointed to the Board on April 1, 2021. She developed her expertise in the Caribbean Tourism Industry in the early 1990’s as Tourism Economist at the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). Dr. Raeburn gained experience in the private sector managing a large Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) funded tourism development programme on behalf of the Antigua Hotel Association. Dr. Raeburn held the position of Director General of Tourism for Antigua and Barbuda for two years and subsequently established her own consulting practice working with small hotels. She is a Director of a beachfront boutique hotel on the South West coast of Antigua and is the current Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. Dr. Raeburn obtained her first degree in Mathematics and Economics from Cambridge University, and a Masters Degree and Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) and having completed the Directors Education and Accreditation Programme (DEAP), she holds the designation Acc. Dir.

Ms. Sandra Derrick Non- Executive Director (Antigua based)

Ms. Derrick was appointed to the Board on April 1, 2021. She is a financial consultant with over ten (10) years’ experience in finance, investments and project management. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Decision Sciences from Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. She is also a Certified Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute. Her work experiences, which have included international assignments, have spanned both private and public enterprises. She started in the technology field customizing databases before expanding into project and financial management. After managing the foreign currency reserves at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, she worked in the Ministry of Finance analyzing and now works in a private capacity. Ms. Derrick is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus in the Management, Science and Technology Department. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) and having completed the Directors Education and Accreditation Programme (DEAP), she holds the designation Acc. Dir.
Who We Are

Ms. Joanna Charles Executive Director/General Manager (Antigua based)

Ms. Charles was appointed to the Board on April 1, 2021. She is also the General Manager of the ACB Caribbean Group and has held this position since October 1, 2018. She joined the Group with a wealth of experience, having last held the position of Deputy Managing Director at Bank Of St. Lucia Ltd. She has also had extensive regional experience having served on Regional Boards in the capacity of Director and Chairman of both the Caribbean Association of Banks and Caribbean Credit Card Corporation. Ms. Charles holds a Bachelor Degree in Banking & Financial Services from the University of Manchester and a Masters in Finance from the Manchester Business School. She is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA), having completed the Directors Education and Accreditation Programme (DEAP) and holds the designation Acc. Dir.
