Business Development Officer
ACB Caribbean is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Business Development Officer for building brand awareness in the public domain, seeking out commercial opportunities, and ensuring that the ACB Caribbean brand is represented in Grenada in accordance with Brand Guidelines.
The duties to be performed include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Represent ACB Grenada Bank at media / PR appearances
- Lead the coordination of external stakeholder events (logistics, planning, branding, managing suppliers, budget tracking.
- Review and track sponsorship requests, seek out opportunities in accordance with the Bank’s strategy and respond to requests.
- Identify and generate leads for revenue generation and onboarding new customers (new customers, new services for existing customers).
- Promote the Group’s suite of convenience banking services and retail products – digital banking and electronic banking services and products
- Identify opportunities for increasing market share and revenue
- Cross-sells at every opportunity
- Conduct sales initiatives and implement innovative engagement with existing and potential clients
- Maintain ACB Caribbean’s Group’s Customer service standards in all interactions with existing and potential customers
- Ensure in-branch promotional collateral is up to date and in place
- Identify branding opportunities for promotion of products and services
- Generate lead reports and share with sales teams for follow-up and closing of sales
To perform the job successfully, the individual must have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing and public relations, media relations
- Experience in sales and business development
- Demonstrated experience in event management
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills
